Given that
- the Biblioteca Civica "A. Arduino "plays a crucial role in our City, both in terms of cultural and social gatherings;
- is the root node of the South Metropolitan Area Library System;
- numerous university and high school students benefit from Moncalieri the library as a place for study and research;
Since
- internet access for its users is now possible only through fixed locations, the use of which is linked to the presence of library staff and for a limited time;
- often positions available for the study and consultation of the books are inadequate to the demand of 'user charges;
- the library to have an endemic shortage of qualified staff;
- to use warehouse space is scarce and that the library will need with some urgency ;
The Council Municipal committed
the Administration to:
- provide the library of a system of free WiFi Internet access for users , given that it already has the special plant;
- increase spaces aimed at studying and consulting books through a reorganization of the rooms to facilitate these activities and privileges;
- consider adding a "machine for the auto loan" , to optimize service and human resources management;
- solve the problem of lack of spaces used for warehouse use ;
- equip the Library of those additional services to help its users , such as the installation of vending machines for snacks;
